Saturday 18^th April 2015 outing to Mechelen 

Meet at Mechelen Town Hall (directly opposite St. Rombouts Cathedral) in the Grote Markt at  10.30 am).

If travelling by train, the Grote Markt is about a 15 minute walk from the Station, if travelling by car, parking is available in the town centre, either Kathedraal or Grote Markt are the most convenient for the Town Hall.

We will have a guided tour of Mechelen (+/- 2 hours) followed by a lunch at ‘ t Oud Conservatorium in the centre of Mechelen. Our guide will be Ruth Rheinhold’s husband, Christian.  Christian is one of the Mechelen tour guides and those of us who went on a guided tour in Antwerp last year with Christian will know he is a fountain of knowledge.

The lunch will be soup followed by a selection of meats and cheeses with bread and tea or coffee to finish.

The cost of this trip is 18 Euros per person inclusive of guide and lunch.

Please sign up as soon as possible as we need to let the restaurant know numbers for the tables we are going to need. Sign up with Jill Brewer (jillian_122@msn.com) before 14 April and transfer money to the ABIW Account (see Grapevine for details) with your name and MECHELEN on your transfer. As this is a Saturday outing we hope many of you will be able to come together with husbands, partners and friends!

Receipt of payment confirms your booking. The booking deadline is also the final date by which payment is due.
