Guided tour of the Bunker Museum Antwerp

During World War 2 the headquarters of the German 89th Army Corps was established in Park “Den Brandt” Antwerp in a bunker village. The command was responsible for defending the Atlantic Wall in Belgium and Walcheren. After the landings in Normandy on 29 August 1944, a few days before the liberation of Antwerp the bunkers were abandoned.
In the Park there are a total of 8 bunkers, we will visit 3 of them together with a guide.
Meeting place: Acacialaan, entrance of Park Den Brandt (De Lijn bus 17, stop Beukenlaan or stop Della Faillelaan)
Meeting time: 10:50, the tour will start 11:00 sharp
