General Meeting May 2, 2017

Our speaker is Lecturer of British and Postcolonial Literature at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
She will talk about ‘Brussels in Literature’ and shed some light on the relation between the Belgian capital and literature from 1815 onward.
How was Brussels depicted by authors, among others, William Thackeray, Charlotte Brontë and Joseph Conrad.
