General Meeting

April 5, 2016 @ 10:00 am

The National Trust

The National Trust is an English charity founded in 1895 by three people who saw the importance of the nation’s heritage and open spaces and wanted to preserve them for everyone to enjoy. Nowadays they protect and open to the public over 350 historic houses, gardens and ancient monuments. They also look after forests, woods, fens, beaches, farmland, downs, moorland, islands, archaeological remains, castles, nature reserves, villages…

There is a lot to talk about when it comes to this organization and we are happy that Johan Vanbrabant, the former chairman of National Trust Association Belgium (NTAB, a voluntary association of National Trust members and supporters living in Belgium) will explain everything you always wanted to know about it.
